2022 CDBG Public Hearing

Sumner County will hold a public hearing on April 8, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., at the Sumner County Administration Building Room 104 located at 355 N. Belvedere Drive Gallatin, TN 37066. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the application for a 2022 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project will serve the residents of Sumner County. All residents are invited to attend and comment. Sumner County does not discriminate. The location is handicapped-accessible. Public Notice: Change of Meeting Time for Financial Management Committees

The regular called meeting of the Financial Management Committees, originally set for December 16, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to a joint meeting with Budget Committee on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. (local time).

This meeting will take place at Sumner County Administration Building, 355 North Belvedere Drive, Gallatin, Tennessee in Room 112.

Notice of Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Emergency Communications Center

The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Emergency Communications Center is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. (local time) and is being held on ZOOM pursuant to the executive orders issued by the Governor which allow meetings to be held by electronic means.

Citizens are asked to submit comments by email to awest@sumnercountytn.gov. Comments received are to be forwarded to all committee members prior to the meeting.

2020 Public Parks and Recreation Grant Virtual Public Meeting Notice

Sumner County will hold a virtual public meeting on November 10, 2020 at 4:30 P.M. local Time. The meeting will be conducted electronically. The virtual Zoom meeting invitation link will be posted online on the Sumner County website under public notices, www.sumnertn.org. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the application for a 2020 Public Parks and Recreation Grant Project administered by the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TDEC) for the William and Martha Brown Memorial Park at Liberty Creek.   Sumner County is completing a Master Plan process for Parks and Trails and seeking public comment on current facilities and any future improvements. This project will serve the residents of Sumner County.  All residents are invited and encouraged to attend this virtual informational meeting and provide comments.  A recording of this meeting will be posted on the county website within the statutory timeframe.  Sumner County does not discriminate.  Special accommodations may be provided to persons with disabilities by contacting Kim Norfleet at 615-442-1163.
