Sumner County is requesting public comment regarding the 2020 Public Parks and Recreation Grant & Sumner County Parks Master Plan. You may view the virtual public meeting recording at the link above. Citizens and visitors who did not have a chance to attend the virtual meeting may view the video at the link above and submit public comments.
The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the application for a 2020 Public Parks and Recreation Grant Project administered by the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation (TDEC) for the William and Martha Brown Memorial Park at Liberty Creek. The virtual public hearing also includes review and discussion for the Sumner County Parks Master Plan. Sumner County is completing a Master Plan process for Parks and Trails and seeking public comment on current facilities and any future improvements. This project will serve the residents of Sumner County.
All citizens are invited and encouraged to view this virtual informational meeting and provide comments.
