Did you know? Sumner County is home to several waterways including Town Creek, East Camp Creek, and a piece of Old Hickory Lake! Each of these waterways is a unique and beautiful ecosystem worthy of protection, and they all feed into the Cumberland River – where we get our drinking water.
Join the Cumberland River Compact and Sumner County Stormwater at the Portland Library for a fun evening dedicated to learning about your local waterways and ways you can take action in your local community. You will participate in interactive demonstrations, trivia games, and group conversations – all to help you appreciate and protect Sumner County waterways!
